Book 30


In the book Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson It describes this story in a fun way.  Astrid wants Nicole
to do roller derby with her but, Nicole wants to do dance camp instead.  Astrid tries to solve the
problem by convincing Nicole to do it with her. Astrid does not try to solve the problem another
way but, things just happen.  In the end Astrid and Nicole end up friends again.

Book 29


In the book Middle School the Worst Years of My Life by James Patterson and Chris Tebbetts it
describes this story in a fun way.  Rafe wants to be a normal kid but, Rafe ends up trying to break
every rule in the rule book.  Using the acronym Rules Aren’t For Everyone. Rafe tries to solves
the problem by putting his project on hold for a while but, that does not not work very well because
Rafe ends up in the principal's office multiple times. Rafe doesn’t try to solve the problem another
way but, instead ends up in summer school.  In the end Rafe finds out that middle school isn’t
the worst.

Book 28

Image result for baby sitters club book 5In the book Baby Sitters Club by Gale Galligan it describes is fun story.  Dawn wants Mrs.Barrett
to start paying more attention to her kids because Dawn feels like she is taking care of the kids
like she is their mother.  Dawn tries to solve the problem by pretending that everything is alright.
That does not really work because later in the book Dawn ends up telling Mrs.Barrett that she
can no longer babysit for her.  In the end Dawn and Mrs.Barrett make a plan.

Image result for sheets the bookI the book Sheets by Brenna Thummler it shows how important acceptance really is.  Marjorie
wants to keep her lundymat open but, Mr.Saubertuck is trying to take over the laundromat.  
Marjorie tries to solve the problem by just constantly saying that she will think about it but, that
does not work very well. The thing is  Marjorie does not really try to solve the problem another
way but, she meets these ghost and they help her keep the laundromat open. In the end the
laundromat stays open and Marjorie’s business makes good progress.

In the book Serendipity and Me by Judith L Roth Sara wants to keep the kitty that just kind of
appeared on her porch.  The problem is that Sara’s dad has been against cats ever since Sara’s
mother died. Sara tries to solve the problem by going behind her dads back but, that does not
work.  So the way Sara ends up getting a kitten is when she goes out into the really dense fog.
Sara’s dad decides that Sara gets grounded because she went out into the fog. Sara’s dad’s
punishment is that Sara gets to have a cat.  In the end Sara and her dad have fun with their
little kitty Serendipity.

Book 25

In the book Serendipity and Me by Judith L. Roth it describes this story in a fun way.  Sara wants to have a cat. The problem is that her dad won’t let her get one because cats remind her dad to much of her mom.  The first time Sara does not try to solve the problem but, finds a stray cat. Sara tries to solve the problem again by trying to convince her dad to let her keep the cat.  In the end Sara has some exciting things and some things that turn out to be consequences. Book 24

In the book The Pages Between Us by Lindsey Leavitt and Robert Mellom it describes this story in an amazing way.  Olivia wants to be in chess club. The problem with Olivia joining chess club is the it starts tearing Olivia and Piper’s friendship apart.  Olivia tries to solve the problem by apologizing to Piper but, that does not work well. Olivia does not really try to solve the problem in another way but, she does realize that when she is on her way to the chess tournament that she is in the wrong place and instead should be at Piper’s birthday party.  In the end Olivia and Piper are friends again.
